REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Proficiency with UX design tools. (e.g. Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq).
- UI/UX design skill set including strategy, user research, personas, style guides, pattern libraries, user journey flows, site structures, wireframes, and user interface specifications.
- Proven track record of bringing diverse team members together through a common strategic goal.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively in an agile software development process.
- High degree of comfort managing multiple projects and multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated fluency in the best practices for web-based and mobile information architecture and responsive design.
- Solid understanding of HTML/CSS; understanding how design translates to code.
Ability to:
- Champion and explain user-centered design recommendations.
- Maintain an understanding of digital trends and capabilities.
- Strong presentation skills and influence.
- Mentor and develop talent within an organization.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically in a high energy, fast paced environment.
- Respond well to direction, embrace feedback and change.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in user experience, digital design, graphic design, human computer interaction (HCI), web development, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a UX designer, UX engineer, interaction designer, UX lead/manager, developer, or similar role.
- Portfolio of projects highlighting the design process for both web-based and mobile applications is required to be considered for this role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
- Experience with modern CMS/DXP platforms (i.e. Sitecore, Adobe AEM, Episerver)
- Experience with CRM (i.e. Salesforce)
- Experience with custom applications
