Sponsor & Partnership - Relationship Manager - Hybrid/Remote

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

• Proven ability to raise funds from corporations/foundations/organizations; proven track record of increasing philanthropic giving from sponsors; demonstrated ability to create successful proposals and to work independently; working knowledge of Raisers’ Edge or comparable development software. Knowledge and familiarity with research techniques for identifying and pursuing new contributor leads. 

Ability to:

• Be self-motivated, creative, and results oriented.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills; strong attention to detail.  
• Travel as necessary to meet with contributors, attend events (occasional evenings and weekend).
• Communicate effectively, both written and oral. 
• Demonstrate proven negotiation skills to build comprehensive, successful fundraising partnerships. 

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, communications, or non-profit management. Upon evaluation, equivalent experience and/or education related to the minimum may be substituted for the degree.
• Three years’ experience in not-for-profit fundraising, preferably within a health-related organization.
• Three+ years’ experience building corporate/foundation partnerships.
• Demonstrated track record of successful fundraising experience that includes special events.
• Valid driver’s license required.
