REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of: 

  • Firm understanding of business processes and basic cost and financial accounting.
  • Expertise in the functional and internal mechanisms of Oracle Applications.
  • Understanding of supporting technologies, including but not limited to Java, JDeveloper, J2EE, Apache, Oracle Internet Application Server, and APEX.

Ability to: 

  • Demonstrate superior written and oral communication.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and creative critical thinking skills.
  • Manage multiple rapidly changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills; demonstrated success in working within both an independent and team environment.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management information systems, or related field. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Five or more years’ experience as an Oracle Applications Database Administrator in a development environment.
  • Must have demonstrated experience designing, configuring, patching, and supporting Oracle Applications, including E-Business Suite
  • Must have experience with the development of custom modules for EBS and Oracle Application upgrades 
  • Must have a working knowledge of Linux and core Oracle databases as well as OBIEE, Hyperion, Essbase, and UPK. 

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration) 

  • Prefer candidates with exposure to online patching, MOAC, Advanced Partitioning, and WebLogic. HCM, WebCenter also a plus.
  • Experience building and deploying Docker Containers using Bamboo and Docker Enterprise Edition.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology as well as experience with DevOps automation and support methods.
  • Background in Healthcare and HIPAA compliance preferred.
