REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Advanced knowledge of software quality assurance (integration, system, regression and user acceptance, performance testing) principles and best practices. 
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies, Product, Safe Agile, and best practices of delivery process.   
  • Working knowledge of overall IT, programming languages, software procedures, applications, and products. 
  • Excellent IT leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Ability to work with senior IT leaders and drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Excellent strategic mindset and proven track-record of creating and driving IT strategy. 
  • Good understanding of IT talent management, the use of employees, consultants (on/off/near shore). 
  • Experience in creating/using enterprise metrics to give status and proactively identify/mitigate risks.  Experience building and fostering an environment for Quality Assurance to succeed within the team and within areas outside the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse with executive management as needed.
  • 10+ years of IT leadership. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Work with cross-functional/matrixed teams to deliver quality at the highest level. 
  • Influence decisions with stakeholders of various levels; senior leaders to middle-management to individual contributors. Pursues interaction and influencing of the IT management team to aid in bringing ideas to fruition.
  • Adapt to change easily while ensuring team members are kept well informed.
  • Experience in product management.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, DICOM) and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Knowledge of the healthcare technology landscape, including EHR systems, health information exchanges, and digital health platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage partner relationships and translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a partner ecosystem context.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in math or computer science. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related information systems experience and/or education may be substituted for the degree requirement
