REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • Strategies and current trends to successfully engage local communities and sponsors.
  • Database Management (SalesForce preferred)
  • Past experience in leading and developing strategy around new, large fundraising event production series
  • Launching and executing live, high-impact, high-capacity events.
  • Experience working with high levels of organizations, confidence in presenting developed vision and strategy.
  • Creating Reports, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SalesForce, Donor Drive (or equivalent) P2P fundraising platform or similar online fundraising tools skills preferred.

 

Ability to:

  • Above average communication skills
  • Written, presentation, persuasion, and listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products and other company software
  • Attention to detail
  • Actively stay educated on current market-trends for targeted audiences, specifically community event attendees.
  • Ability to plan and implement multiple projects
  • Self-directed worker who can adapt to change in fast paced environment and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Goal oriented and highly motivated with ability to excel independently, and as part of a team

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communications, technology, nonprofit or related field. On evaluation, three years of work experience related to the minimum experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 7+ years’ experience in a fundraising and/or event management role, with emphasis on executing volunteer-led events and P2P fundraising.

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

  • Knowledge of fundraising rules and guidelines. Experience leading and creating digital fundraising events and virtually coaching community organizers.
