REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Strong working knowledge of clinical trial database design and management, including Medidata EDC custom programming experience. Proficiency in computer skills across multiple applications.
- Database programming experience designing studies and data validation programming.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Strong working knowledge of good clinical data practices, including ICH and FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11.
Ability to:
- Demonstrate understanding of clinical data structures and communicate database design concepts to clinical study teams
- Provides accurate and timely answers to technical questions from peers and external stakeholders
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, written and oral, with people of all technical levels.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to communicate, advocate, negotiate, listen and partner with a variety of individuals and groups.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills.

- Acquire and apply new technical skills.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics, management information systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years Medidata Rave EDC study build experience, including edit check programming and testing
- C# / Rave EDC custom function programming experience
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (SAP Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence, Medidata Reporter, Looker, and/or SAS)
- Applied knowledge of Medidata suite of applications (e.g., Platform CTMS, RTSM, TSDV, Coder) and their integrations preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
- MS or equivalent degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics, management information systems, or related field.
- Experience with programming language (JavaScript, web services, API, SQL and Oracle) including software development and maintenance preferred.
- Database development experience with SQL and/or Oracle desired.
- Knowledge of CDSIC/CDASH standards desired.
