Regional Fundraiser - Remote in Houston, TX
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Demonstration and understanding of non- profit fundraising strategies.
- Volunteer leadership development and staff / volunteer partnership.
- Stewardship practices.
- Relationship Management.
- Raiser’s Edge.
Ability to:
- Achieve revenue goals.
- Cultivate and steward benefactor and leadership volunteer relationships.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to meet agreed upon objectives.
- Ability to plan and execute program strategy to align with organizational strategy.
- Ability to manage budget and work with other departments to promote the program areas.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate periodic evening and weekend hours.
- Up to monthly travel as necessary.
Education and/or Experience:
- 3+ years development and fundraising experience which has included success in the following accountabilities: effectively managing relationships and soliciting gifts between $2,500 to $10,000, leadership volunteer development, event-based fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship practices.
