Project & Client Manager, CIBMTR & Clinical Services - Hybrid/Remote
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Advanced knowledge of project management principles; project planning, execution, controlling; and software development methods and tools.
- Strong demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office; Project, Visio, Excel and Word.
Ability to:
- Work in a complex, high speed, self-correcting environment in search of desirable results under conditions of uncertainty and change.
- Demonstrate advanced written and oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Maintain confidentiality related to information and records management.
- Work independently; is self-motivated and willing to take initiative to complete tasks with minimal direction.
- Be highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Exhibit advanced interpersonal skills, versatility, relationship focused and strong service orientation.
- Develop strong relationships (internally and externally), collaborate cross-functionally, and influence without authority. Be able to use diplomacy in working relationships to address conflict and arbitrate solutions successfully.
- Mediate and solve conflicts and provide active de-escalation management.
- Acknowledge team successes by providing positive feedback and recognition.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
- Remain up to date on technologies and trends relevant to cord blood.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, math, or computer science. Upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement. PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Five years of equivalent project management or project team leadership experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
- Experience in NMDP operations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading low to moderate projects with proven results.
