Product Owner - Hybrid/Remote

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to:

• Work within Scrum methodologies for highly successful teams.
• Communicate with excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate business and technology concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Possess a strong personal work ethic with a drive to deliver excellent customer service, with a commitment to quality and continual improvement.
• Solve complex problems and decision-making skills; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
• Manage multiple priorities, including negotiation, delegation and conflict resolution skills.
• Maintain confidentiality related to information and records management.
• Understand connections between multiple applications in a federated enterprise architecture.
• Accommodate infrequent travel, approximately once per quarter.
• As required, work extended hours to meet deadlines or cover after hour’s product releases.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or another related field preferred. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Two years previous experience as a product owner or related role.
• Four years’ experience with defining and prioritizing requirements in an Agile environment.
• Background in working in HRIS environments

Preferred Qualifications: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

• Experience working in a highly-integrated technical environment
• Ability to own multiple inter-related products with distinct user bases
• Experience in a non-profit and clinical research environments.
• Healthcare, science related fields. Bonus if experience with healthcare data standards.
