REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • Applicable FDA, Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy, and AABB guidelines, criteria, and requirements.
  • Hematopoietic stem cell donor evaluation, eligibility/suitability, collection, and transplant.
  • Donor, apheresis, and collection center business models and structure.

 

Ability to:

  • Align work with and drive network partners towards strategic goals.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills.
  • Demonstrate clear and concise oral and written communication, attention to details, customer service skills.
  • Commit to periodic travel, up to nine (9) trips annually, 2-3 days in length each.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care, communications, non-profit management or related human service field. However, upon evaluation, equivalent experience and/or education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Four years’ experience in a position that required building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • On evaluation, two years in another relevant NMDP position may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

  • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment (GTP/GMP) such as a blood center or apheresis center.
