REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience:
- 1-year experience volunteering with Be The Match.
- Currently enrolled in college as a sophomore, junior, senior or recent graduate enrolled in graduate school.
- Meets or exceeds college/universities’ Standard Academic Progress requirements.
- Previous leadership roles, professional or volunteer.
- Experience in planning and facilitating meetings, including agenda preparation.
- Experience in goal setting and timeline planning.

National Student Leadership Board (NSLB) Positions
Focus Area Addendum
LEADERSHIP
This role’s primary focus is to lead the design and implementation of resources to support local Be The Match On Campus Chapter members in leadership positions. The individual in this role will serve as a model to local Chapter leadership and will also serve as a peer leader to the National Student Leadership Board as a whole.
- Serve as the NSLB team Project Manager, tracking deadlines and necessary deliverables that the team has committed to
- Develop resources to support Chapter administrative activities, including assistance for local Chapters to secure or maintain Registered Student Organization status
- Facilitate and develop leadership training and resources for implementation at the local Chapter level
- Lead administrative support and activity on the Be The Match On Campus Slack Workspace by planning and executing regular content and member interactions
- Primary guiding metric of success: Chapter and Ambassador Program Growth
EVENTS
The individual in this role will be focus on leading the development and implementation of resources and other support for Chapters to hold successful events on their local campuses. This role includes responsibility for:
- Develop resources and training to support Chapter event success
- Identify best practices and success models that are scalable and work to integrate these into new resources in a timely manner
- Track booked events and identify Chapters who need additional support to complete event bookings
- Develop content for the annual Chapter Retreat
- Lead BTMOC Chapter recognition and award programs
- Primary guiding metric of success: Booked events by Chapters
MARKETING
The Marketing Lead will leverage social media, online marketing and strategic communication to support Be The Match On Campus Chapters in effective marketing of their events and to share national, program-wide communications to Chapters. Experience with Canva is desired. This leadership role includes responsibility for:
- Lead content development for monthly Be The Match On Campus e-newsletter
- Develop new Be The Match On Campus marketing resources including but not limited to social media graphics, informational 1-pagers, and suggested talking points that support Chapters program goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to local Chapters on marketing best practices and guidelines
- Primary guiding metric of success: Be The Match On Campus student audience engagement rates
ENGAGEMENT
This role will focus on Be The Match On Campus Chapter Engagement on a National, programmatic level and provide leadership to local Chapters to increase Chapter member engagement. This role includes responsibility for:
- Lead monthly Chapter engagement through nationwide calls
- Develop Chapter member recruitment and engagement resources, including those that support the tracking of volunteer hours
- Track volunteerism at a program level
- Lead and/or assist in training and development needs at the program level for Chapter leadership and members
- Provide support to Ambassadors on campuses that do not yet have Chapters and nurture these as warm leads for potential new Chapters
- Primary guiding metric of success: Tracked volunteer hours
PARTNERSHIPS
This role will focus on assisting Chapters to leverage the various partnerships Be The Match has with student organizations as a philanthropy partner. This person will work to ensure Chapters are well informed of the partnerships Be The Match has cultivated with other organizations on their campus and provide resources to support the Chapter in engaging with those partner organizations.
- Develop resources and support for Chapters to connect with and engage Be The Match Partners on their campus
- Identify what partners are present on campuses with Be The Match On Campus Chapters and assist in the facilitation of outreach to those partners by the local Chapter
- Serve as a student resource to the Partnerships Manager if a student-to-student approach could be beneficial
- Work to increase Partnership engagement rates with Chapters nationwide
- Primary guiding metric of success: Partner + Chapter engagement rates
