REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of:

  • Fundamental marketing principles, effective communications, and education strategies to increase learning, engagement and fundraising among varied audiences.
  • Microsoft Office and Asana

 

Ability to:

  • Be self-motivated and results oriented
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Communicate effectively, both written and oral.
  • Plan and implement multiple tasks.
  • Be a self-directed worker who can adapt to change in fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn a new medical area.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to be strategic and results-oriented.
  • Translate technical information into content and messaging appropriate for a wide array of constituents include contributors, donors, physicians, researchers, etc.
  • Exemplify our Be The Match Values.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Rising college sophomore, junior, senior or recent graduate in marketing, business, management, communications, nonprofit or related field.
  • Strong preference will be given to students in their senior year of college.

 

Hours:

  • 20-40 hours per week for this paid internship, depending on Intern availability

 

Proof of being up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccination, including a booster when eligible, with acceptable documentation is required for employment. NMDP will consider all requests for medical or religious accommodation.
