REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Understanding of OSHA requirements/ practices and other safety guidelines.
- Practical knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Fire detection and protection systems.
- Fundamentals of electricity, electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.
- Industry best practices for preventive maintenance.
Ability to:
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, blueprints, reports and general correspondence.
- Complete electronic forms and write reports.
- Technical capacity.
- Results driven.
- Strong time management and project coordination skills.
- Proven positive customer interaction and service.
- Proficient communication.
- Work with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license; able to drive between local buildings.
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
- Work independently with little supervision.
- Provide work guidance to Maintenance Technicians.
- Able to work overtime when needed.
- Must exemplify our Be The Match Standards.
Education and/or Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in maintenance of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment for corporate office buildings and specialty spaces.
- Previous experience providing work direction for teammates and service providers.
- Previous experience with Building Automation Systems, CMMS and CAFM.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)
- Certificate/designation in Facility Management.
- Associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance.
- Previous experience in AutoCAD and IWMS; experience in other FM databases.
