Intern, American Indian/Alaska Native Health Equity - Remote
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Health equity
- Indian Health Services, Tribal health infrastructure, Urban Indian Health Programs(I/T/U)
- Research best practices
- Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Ability to:
- Exemplify our NMDP Standards
- Self-start, and function both independently and as a valued member of a team
- Use effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects
- Communicate with a wide range of people through strong writing and oral abilities
- Interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Demonstrate proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
- Challenge conventional thinking and processes
- Consume and synthesize relevant published materials
- Adhere to the NMDP Confidentiality Policy
Education and/or Experience:
- Current graduate student or within one year of having completed a graduate degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or related degree
