REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
- Demonstrated knowledge of molecular biology, immunology, or genetics.
Ability to:
- Demonstrate professional oral and written communication (documented experience).
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving, independent technical and troubleshooting experience.
- Demonstrate decision-making skills and project management experience.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate basic word processing and spreadsheet skills.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and four years relevant work experience, such as: technologist, clinical trials project lead, clinical research nurse, clinical quality assurance specialist or research scientist in a related science setting or Master’s/PhD degree in relevant scientific field or three years full-time internal NMDP employment.
- CHTC (Certified Hematopoietic Transplant Coordinator) or CHS (Certified Histocompatibility Specialist) preferred.
