HBCU Campus Engagement Intern - North Carolina Central University
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an HBCU.
- Completed at least 30-hours of relevant coursework. Minimum GPA 2.8.
Time Commitment:
- School Year: 10-20 hours/week
- Will include some weekend and evening hours.
Pay rate:
- $17.50/hour
Minimum Experience:
- Preference given to NMDP Chapter member, NMDP Ambassador and/or NMDP volunteer
Key Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills with an innate ability to develop relationships with other students and campus organizations.
- A passion for public speaking and proficient in using various social media platforms to effectively promote NMDP’s lifesaving mission.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Internet search applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One previous internship preferred.
