Grant Writer - Remote/Hybrid

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

• Familiarity working with government entities to raise grant dollars preferred/ideal.
• Proficiency in Raiser's Edge or comparable development software.
• Familiarity with research techniques for fundraising prospect research.

Ability to:

• Effectively manage and grow a grants portfolio to drive increased revenue that supports Foundation team’s ambitious fundraising goals.
• Demonstrate proficiency in writing successful proposals and reports.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, meeting deadlines consistently.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in word processing software.
• Function autonomously as a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience (4+ years) may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Experience with government grants.
• Experience writing research-focused grants.
• Minimum of 3 years of development experience, including identifying, cultivating, and soliciting corporate/foundation prospects, along with at least three years of grant writing experience.

Other Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Availability for travel (2-3 day trips).
