POSITION SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for developing and executing experience marketing projects for NMDP members through the journey from awareness to advocacy. The Experience and Engagement Strategist will work with Experience Strategy and Engagement Manager and Director of Experience Strategy and Engagement help implement end-to-end experience strategy for NMDP. The person in this position will work with key partners in the marketing, technology, operations, and analytics teams to bring strategies to life.

The ideal team member will be well-versed in customer experience design principles, project management, experience enablement, voice of customer, and marketing/communication best practices. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Core Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative and impactful solutions for enhancing member-donor commitment and loyalty across the end-to-end journey.
  • Effectively shepherd and support projects during all phases, including intake, business case development, requirements identification, and execution.
  • Collaborate with the Experience and Engagement team to implement and support the member-donor experience strategy, including experience roadmap, voice of the customer and insights implementation, journey measurement and analysis, data insights, and experience enablement implementation.
  • Employ knowledge and experience with Salesforce to work with internal partners and IT to ensure requirements are captured for business needs.
  • Work effectively with the department leaders, technical, and data/insights teams to ensure projects deliver measurable and timely results.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver on experience strategy.
  • Elevates deliverables and processes by providing timely feedback.

Other Accountabilities:

  • Maintains and enhances knowledge of experience strategy best practices, communications channels, emerging trends and new tools and processes, and works to incorporate new ideas into the end-to-end experience. 
  • Participates in projects and cross-functional teams as assigned. 
  • Actively participates as a member of the Member, Donor, and Product Operations department to ensure the achievement of overall goals and objectives. 
  • Pursues opportunities for ongoing learning. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Knowledge of:

  • Knowledge of or experience working in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Community Cloud.
  • Experience in healthcare or nonprofit fields.
  • Experience working with segmented audiences.
  • Knowledge of best practices for project management.

Ability to:

  • Breakdown complex problems and implement strategic solutions.
  • Exhibit advanced interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Be highly detailed and results-oriented, with excellent, proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced changes to needs.
  • Communicate with audiences both large and small in an effective manner.
  • Travel as required, estimated at 1-2 trips per year of 2-5 days each.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or information systems or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience and/or business strategy and development experience.
