REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

  • Major gift and annual giving campaigns.
  • Endurance, running & cycling P2P fundraising programming.
  • Corporate and event sponsorships.
  • Volunteer leadership.
  • MS Office, Excel and Raiser's Edge and Donor Drive a plus. 

 

Ability to:

  • Work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Travel as necessary, approximately 4-8 trips per year.
  • Be self-motivated, results oriented and demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills. 
  • Communicate effectively, both written and oral. 
  • Demonstrate proven negotiation skills. 
  • Take direction and input to develop effective and engaging branded events that achieve the business goals. 
  • Influence and coordinate the efforts of other team members.
  • Applicable skills in strategic planning and budgeting, volunteer development and supervision.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing, communications, or non-profit management. Upon evaluation, equivalent experience and/or education related to the minimum may be substituted for the degree.
  • Five years’ experience in not-for-profit fundraising, preferably within a health-related organization.
  • Five years’ volunteer management experience, preferably with a fundraising focus.
  • Five years events management experience to include corporate/foundation giving, donor cultivation and recognition, donor records and acknowledgement.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful fundraising experience that includes special events.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license required.
