REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of: 

  • Knowledge of enterprise frameworks, systems integration, software development and testing methodologies required.
  • Software Designs,  Software Architecture, SQL (Structured Query Language), Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Modeling (OOM), UML and/or BPMN, Project Management, Agile, Software Development Life Cycle, RDBMS, Oracle SQL and MS SQL Databases, Sequence Diagrams, State Machines, Activity Diagram, Data Mapping and  Data Analysis, Value Stream mapping, Business Process Management, systems requirements elicitation, use case analysis, mind mapping, business modeling, data flow diagraming, data mining, data modeling, financial modelling, business rules analysis, business capability analysis.

 

Ability to:

  • Acquire a broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • The ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery.
  • To influence and drive to decisions.
  • To define and analyze requirements using Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles
  • To explain technical details and the ability to ask questions and challenge ideas, requests, business needs to ensure business value is delivered.
  • Write SQL statements and conduct data and integration analysis.
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • Possess strong situational analysis, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • To communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes excellent written and verbal communications, as well as visualizations.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Business Administration with an emphasis on Information Technology. Upon evaluation, a minimum of four (4) years’ software development experience in addition to the minimum may be substituted for the degree.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a systems analyst, data analyst, or solution architect, or software engineer.
  • Four (4) years of formal modeling experience (UML and/or BPMN) including, but not limited to business process modeling, system use case development, class and object modeling, state modeling, activity modeling and context modeling.
  • Four (4) years of technical work experience in a software development environment, which included experience performing systems analysis for software development on proprietary software applications.
  • Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
  • Experience with regulatory oversight is helpful. Strong presentation and facilitation skills including experience applying requirements elicitation techniques.
  • Experience investigating potential system and/or reporting issues to identify the root cause and determines viable solutions by collaborating with software developer and vendors, IT staffs and subject matter experts.
  • Experience partnering with the Enterprise Architecture team in developing an integrated view of the enterprise systems using cohesive business architecture and software architecture frameworks

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS(Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration) 

  • Power Designer, Any BPMN Tools, Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira), SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), Microsoft Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
  • IIBA designation of Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of technical standards used in healthcare (HL7, FHIR) 
  • Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Application Framework, Oracle APEX experience is strongly preferred
